UNTOUCHED AMAZON

In a world where borders are disappearing every day, there remains a massive green carpet that defies any description.

Within a 1,000-mile circle centered in Manaus, at the heart of the Amazon rainforest, lie 3.5 million hectares of crystal- clear waters with restricted access, where our Mobile Safari Camps operate.

These unique camps combine world-class service and comfort in a small camp atmosphere with the ultimate adventure, creating a true lifetime experience in the Amazon.

River Plate Anglers holds exclusive fishing licenses for over 1,500 miles of waters previously locked within Indigenous and government reserves.

In exchange for these privileges, we contribute to territorial protection and fulfill important humanitarian commitments with traditional communities — the true guardians of the forest.

4 DRY-ZONE FISHERIES

Prime peacock bass fishing occurs only at ideal water levels for just 60 to 80 days each season.

With more than 12 private zones above and below Manaus, River Plate ensures anglers always have access to waters at the right level throughout the entire fishing season.

OUR DIFFERENTIALS

01Exclusive fishing rights in the most productive rivers of the Amazon.
11 exclusive rivers in conservation units and Indigenous lands, where there is no fishing pressure except from our privileged guests.
02Massive area, covering different dry- season periods.
Our zones stretch across 1,000 x 600 miles, with 11 private river systems flowing through 16 million acres. The dry season begins in June and ends in March.
03Strategic mobility
Floating cabins with shallow draft, navigating in as little as 10 inches of water — accessing beyond shallow barriers that block other boats.

A FIGHT LIKE NO OTHER

Considered the most aggressive sportfish in the world, the fierce Peacock Bass (Tucunaré-Açú) delivers a relentless, heart-pounding fishing experience.

The Warrior of Amazon Waters.
These powerful fighters hit like a freight train and are considered the hardest-fighting freshwater fish in the world.
Records
Most of our guests land the largest peacock bass of their lives and record-breaking numbers of trophy fish over 20 lbs — including some world records.

In addition to peacock bass, anglers can also target species such as redtail catfish (pirarara), giant catfish (piraíba), wolf fish (traíra), matrinxã, payara, and arowana.

WORLD-CLASS FISHING

Our expert guide
Among the very best — rigorously trained, and in most cases born and raised in Amazon river systems, they know the waters like no one else. As part of our commitment to excellence, you may also find an apprentice guide on board, as part of our continuous training program.
Our fishing boats
Since the 1990s, innovation and passion have marked our journey. We evolved from heavy, oversized motors to a modern fleet designed for the Amazon. Today, we operate 20-foot welded boats, with flat bottoms, shallow drafts, and tunnels — perfect for navigating the shallowest waters. Equipped with 30 HP outboards, silent trolling motors, two wide casting platforms, and chair extensions, our boats provide unmatched stability and performance, taking anglers to unexplored spots where nature reveals its purest form
